Council Meeting
The Shire's council meeting
will be held Sunday, February 21, at 12 noon
Please note: This month is at a different locale...
Fred Meyers in Newberg in the Dining area.
Next month will be back at the usual location:
The meeting place will be the
First Federal Bank community room located at 121
N. Edwards in Newberg.
(This
is the new 'regular' meeting place as shown on the Meetings page...)
The bank sits on the corner of Hancock (also
called 99W) and College.
It is just one block away from our former meeting place at the Coffee
Cottage.
The entrance to the bank faces the bank parking lot and Edwards St.
The community room is to the left of the bank
entrance.
Please Note:
We are not allowed to bring
food or drinks into the community room.
As always, everyone is
invited to attend Shire council meetings.

Fight Practice
Fighters, please note: There is a Demo on Friday, January 15th. It's not on Thursday as Amalric reported incorrectly.
Thursday practice is still going to happen on the 14th as well. If you can make both great!
Location is the same place as fighter practice. Contact Amalric if you will show up on Friday. Thanks!
Fighter
Practice is back in the back at the Yamhill
Middle School location for the colder months.

Coming
soon: New Shire Website!
The Shire's new
website is underway! Watch
the progress here.
Anyone is welcome to send comments and suggestions.
There will be a lot of new capabilities on the site when it's ready for
regular use.
Needed: Lot's of full size images, and maybe even stories for posting
on the site.
Also: The web minister is also looking for a
deputy to help with organization and
to learn to take over the maintenance of the new site when the time
comes.
Contact Duke Amalric if you are interested in becoming the Deputy Web
Min for the Shire.
