Your friendly and fun Acorn War is back, better than ever. Please join The Shire of Mountain Edge for a weekend of fun activities!

Armored fighters, rapier fighters, archers and equestrians prepare to show your skill in many fierce and fun competitions.

Mountain Edge will be seeking its next Archery and Equestrian Defenders at this event.

There will also be plenty of on site contests, classes and activities for non fighters. Our traditional activities (Straw Into Gold, Scottish Rules Croquet) will return along with something new: an A&S “village” and an expanded merchants row. Check this website frequently for updates.

Site opens at 12 noon on Friday (10AM for merchants).
Site closes at 5:00 pm on Sunday.

Adults will also need to complete this Waiver if not an SCA member.

Gate Site Fees:
Adults: $15.00 plus $3.00 NMS for non members.
Youth ages 12-17 $10.00
Children 6-11 $5.00
Children 5 and under free.
Per Horse Fee (day trip or weekend) $15

Day Trip Fees:
Adults: $10 plus $3 NMS for non members
Youth 12-17 $7.00
Children 6-11 $3
Children 5 and under free

Pre-registration Fees (Entire Event Only):
Adults: $12.00 plus $3.00 NMS for non-members
Youth ages 12-17 $8.00
Children 6-11 $4.00
Children 5 and under free (please list on form)
Per-Horse Fee: $10 (day trip or weekend – if paid with pre-registration)
Pre-registration is required for horses – email is acceptable but please note that the fees for horses and humans are higher when paid at gate.

Pre-Registration Deadline:
Mail pre-registration by Aug 30, 2008 – see forms and submission address on Shire Web site or contact the event steward to receive forms by email.

Directions to Site: From the North or South, Take your best route to I-5 to Exit 263 and head west on Brooklake Road (follow the signs to Willamette Mission State Park). Stay on Brooklake until it ends on Wheatland Rd and take a right. Follow Wheatland Rd to the Park. The entrance will be on the left. SCA signs will be posted.
