We are a small Shire in the Kingdom of An Tir.
(Yamhill County, Oregon)
Our next Council Meeting will be on Sunday July 13th at noon. As usual it is held at the Coffee Cottage. Room rental is for purchase of a beverage and a snack. So come ready to eat.
Hey, Ho, join us for the parade!
The Newberg Old Fashioned Festival parade will take place on Saturday, July 26. The theme this year is “Festivals Around the World”. Everyone is cordially invited to march (read walk) in the parade with the Shire of Mountain Edge
The parade is one of the largest in Oregon and is part of a three day celebration in Newberg. The parade starts at 10:00 am but participants need to be lined up in parade formation by 9:00 am. for judging. The parade will take place rain or shine. It usually shines, but be prepared for the alternative. We will all be in garb, of course.
Participants must be 14 years of age or older in order to march in the parade.
The route is about 2 miles long. All nice and flat.
